TLDians offers Travel grants of up to $2,000 are available for TLDians Fellows to visit and lecture in developing nations regarding the opportunities of Global Internet Business Development.
The goal of the program is to foster “new gTLD program” in Developing Economies by increasing interaction and bridging between TLDians Fellows and user Communities and Business user Constituencies of Developing Economies (IC/BC of DgEc) and helping them in Technology Transfer activities. The grant is meant to defray Experts Travel Costs, whereas additional costs should be covered by their host organization alternately.
It is hoped that visits will lead to closer collaboration between the lecturer and the user Constituencies of the developing economies. Letters from potential hosts should be submitted with your application if possible. If there is a TLDians workshop or conference near your destination, you may be asked to schedule a visit.
Successful applicants will be asked to serve as an “ambassador” from TLDians. Upon returning, the applicant will have to submit complete report about your lecture and presentations delivered at your visit. You may be asked to draft a short article about the trip and experiences for TLDians Fellows or the TLDians Newsletter.
